Don’t forget it’s that time of year when our thoughts turn to 10ks. It can only mean one thing. The Eamon Martin trophy series is in full swing, so as well as the new ‘All Rounder Trophy’ you can also pick up points in all the local 10ks up to and including the final which will be the Southend 10k in October.
After some initial teething problems with England Athletics new registration system they seem to have resolved the problems (hopefully) which means we can now access all our records on line. If you have paid the £5 registration fee and not yet received your official card please let Mike know and we will look in to it for you.
A big thank you to Kate, who has taken over Sarah’s role, so will now be taking care of the Christmas party and the club shop. If you want tickets for the Christmas dinner please let Kate know ASAP as they sell out very quickly.
